THE
VISION

Original Footage · Music-Driven Edits

You ever imagine a music video when listening to a song? That's the idea behind TheVision. Original footage cut to match a track's rhythm and structure, turning what a song already suggests into something you can watch.

FILMS

Shot at JDM Fest, a Japanese car festival built around drift and competition footage.

Follows skateboarding through Montreal's Old Port.

Contrasts cold city moments (metro rides, traffic at night, waiting at a bus stop) with warmer open ones, blended using double exposure and color grading.

APPROACH

Each piece starts with a track and a feeling: what the song already suggests. Footage is shot specifically for the edit, then cut to match the rhythm and structure of the music, letting the audio shape the pacing and transitions.

Techniques like double exposure and color grading are used to reinforce tone rather than decorate. The visuals are meant to feel like the song looks.
